Privacy Policy
This page explains what data is collected when you visit Hood Warfare 2 Guide (hoodwarfare2.org), an unofficial fan site, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
You don't need an account to use this site, and we never ask for your name or email. The site doesn't store personal data itself. These services collect some data when you visit:
- Google Analytics counts visits and shows us which pages are useful. It uses cookies and collects data such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, and your approximate location.
- Google AdSense shows ads on this site. See the next section.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it from attacks. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages.
The "Can I run it?" checker reads your graphics card name from your browser to fill in the form. The check runs in your browser, and we only record the result (for example "Yes, at high settings") in Google Analytics, not your hardware. The player count page loads Steam numbers from our data server and doesn't collect anything about you.
Advertising and cookies
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before cookies are used for personalized ads.
Learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
