There's no official preset, so we went through streamer IchibanThug Gaming's settings video from October 12, 2026. His picks: mouse sensitivity 23 (22 to 25 is his range), zoom sensitivity 13, FOV 90, VSync, motion blur and HDR off, and TSR for upscaling, since the game has no DLSS or FSR. On a weaker graphics card, lower shadows, shading and reflections first.

What mouse sensitivity should you use?
Start at 23 and adjust a point or two either way. IchibanThug Gaming suggests 22 to 25 if you want more precision, and uses 23 himself. When you aim down sights, he drops to a zoom sensitivity of 13 so you don't over-flick.

What are the best controller settings?
Hood Warfare 2 has full controller support on PC. Because it's an Unreal Engine 5 game, IchibanThug finds aiming "quite sensitive" on a controller and suggests (1:03):
- Controller sensitivity: 19 to 22
- ADS sensitivity: 12 to 14, so you're not swinging all over the place when you aim
He plays mostly on keyboard and mouse and says he'll test the controller more, so these numbers are rougher than his mouse settings. On a controller, your three killstreaks go on the D-pad (left, up and right), as the killstreak menu shows in Ears' video at 15:37.
Which keybinds should you change?
- Crouch and reload on your mouse's side buttons, if it has them. IchibanThug puts one on each and finds that easier than pressing keys for both (1:18).
- Killstreaks are on the number keys. You can rebind them, and most other actions, in the controls menu (1:49).
What FOV should you use?
90 is a good default. IchibanThug uses 90 and says some pro FPS players go from 90 to 105 (2:39). A higher FOV shows more around you but makes enemies smaller, so try a few values. You can play in first or third person.
Also set the frame rate limit to your monitor's refresh rate, which he calls "very important" (2:33).
Which graphics settings give you more FPS?
Hood Warfare 2 runs on Unreal Engine 5, so it's heavier than its $5.99 price suggests. IchibanThug plays on an RTX 4090 with a Ryzen 9 9950X3D and runs most settings on high (2:21). Here's his setup:

On a slower graphics card at 1080p or 1440p, drop shadows, shading and reflections to medium or low first (3:55). Does Hood Warfare 2 have DLSS or FSR?
No. For anti-aliasing and upscaling, the game only offers TSR (Unreal Engine's Temporal Super Resolution) or TAA, and IchibanThug calls TSR "the best one" (3:21). There's no NVIDIA DLSS or AMD FSR option as of his October 12 video.
Which audio settings should you change?
- Music: IchibanThug turns it off because he isn't sure about copyright, even though he says the soundtrack is "banging" (4:19). If you don't stream or upload videos, keep it on: it's rapper Occ Taee's songs, listed in our soundtrack guide.
- Voice volume: he turns it down because of what the announcer says during matches (4:30).
- Voice chat: he turns it off and uses Discord instead (4:50). If you keep it on, push-to-talk is on T by default, and you can switch to open mic in the settings (patch 1.0.10).
